MEET JANICE
I'm Janice Gracias, and career transitions aren't theory to me, I've lived through more than one myself.
Over the past 9+ years, I've sat across the table from job seekers in two very different worlds coaching at the Bredin Centre for Career Advancement in Edmonton, and at Job Junction/Nova Scotia Works in Halifax, before bringing that experience home to Goa. I've seen what actually helps someone go from stuck to hired, in a fast-moving Canadian job market and in a Goan one that runs on relationships, references, and word of mouth.
I started The Career Nexus because I kept seeing capable people who weren't lacking potential; they were lacking direction. Sometimes the problem wasn't the resume or the interview; it was simply not knowing what was standing between where they were and where they wanted to be. I want to create support that helps people figure that out, one step at a time.
I don't hand you a document and disappear.
